As we come to the end of 2025, there’s a collective exhale happening — whether we consciously notice it or not. The final weeks of a year always invite reflection, but this year feels different. Deeper. More transformative. For many women, 2025 has not been a “gentle” year. It has been revealing, shedding skins, surfacing truths that could no longer be ignored.
Energetically, this makes sense. 2025 has been the Year of the Snake — a symbol of deep transformation, intuition, truth, and rebirth. The Snake doesn’t rush. She sheds what no longer fits, even when it’s uncomfortable. She asks us to look honestly at our relationships, our patterns, our self-abandonment, and our wounds.
For many of the women I work with, this year has brought betrayal awakenings — in relationships, friendships, families, or even within themselves. Moments where the illusion cracked and the truth demanded to be seen.
As we prepare to step into 2026, the Year of the Horse, the energy shifts dramatically. Where the Snake asks us to go inward, the Horse asks us to move forward. With courage. With freedom. With embodied confidence.
But before we rush ahead, there is sacred work to do here — in the pause between years.
Why Year-End Reflection Is Essential for Healing
So many women want to “leave the pain in the past” and move on quickly — especially after heartbreak or betrayal. But true healing doesn’t come from bypassing the year that broke you open. It comes from honouring it.
Reflection is not about reliving pain. It’s about reclaiming your power.
When you consciously review your year, you:
- Regulate your nervous system by creating meaning
- Integrate lessons instead of repeating cycles
- Release shame and self-blame
- Reconnect with your intuition and inner wisdom
This is especially important if 2025 challenged your sense of safety, trust, or identity.
Gentle Prompts to Review Your 2025
Find a quiet moment. Light a candle. Place a hand on your heart or womb. Let these questions land softly — there is no right or wrong answer.
1. Where Did I Shed a Skin This Year?
- What version of me no longer exists?
- What truths did I finally face?
- What relationship, belief, or pattern had to end?
2. What Hurt — and What Did It Teach Me?
- Where did betrayal, disappointment, or grief show up?
- What did this experience reveal about my needs, boundaries, or worth?
- How did I survive something I once thought I wouldn’t?
3. Where Did I Abandon Myself — and Where Did I Come Home?
- When did I silence my intuition?
- When did I honour it?
- What moments made me feel most like me?
4. What Strength Was Forged Through the Fire?
- How am I braver now?
- How am I more discerning?
- How has my nervous system learned to protect me?
Let yourself acknowledge the growth — even if the year didn’t look the way you hoped.
Releasing 2025: What Are You Ready to Leave Behind?
Before stepping into the Horse’s forward-moving energy, ask yourself:
- What am I no longer willing to carry?
- What emotional weight doesn’t belong in my next chapter?
- What version of love am I done accepting?
You may wish to write these down and safely burn or tear the paper as a ritual of release — a symbolic closing of the Snake year.
Planning for 2026: Moving With the Energy of the Horse
The Year of the Horse is about momentum, independence, confidence, and embodied freedom. But unlike hustle culture, this energy is not about pushing harder — it’s about moving in alignment.
As you plan for 2026, consider these prompts:
1. How Do I Want to Feel in My Body and Nervous System?
Instead of setting goals based purely on outcomes, ask:
- Do I want to feel calm?
- Safe?
- Passionate?
- Open to love again?
Your nervous system should be part of your vision.
2. What Kind of Relationships Am I Available For Now?
- What standards feel non-negotiable?
- What dynamics am I no longer tolerating?
- How do I want to feel after spending time with someone?
3. What Does Freedom Mean to Me Now?
Freedom after healing looks different. It might mean:
- Stronger boundaries
- Emotional self-trust
- Choosing peace over chemistry
- Honouring your feminine rhythms
4. What Support Am I Willing to Receive?
This is a big one. Healing doesn’t require doing everything alone — even though many of us learned to survive that way.
You Don’t Have to Walk Into 2026 Alone
If 2025 cracked you open, exposed wounds, or left you questioning yourself — please know this: nothing is wrong with you. You were responding to life with the tools you had.
But you don’t have to carry those wounds into 2026.
My 12-Week Fiercely Feminine Way Healing Program is designed for women who are ready to:
- Heal betrayal and heartbreak at a nervous-system level
- Release trauma bonds and emotional patterns
- Rebuild self-trust, confidence, and feminine power
- Step into the next chapter feeling grounded, embodied, and clear
This is not about “fixing” yourself. It’s about coming home to who you were always meant to be.
